Case in Point: Silicon Border Development
Luce Forward successfully represented Silicon Border in connection with the financing of a new 4,500 acre industrial park in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. The first purchaser in the park is Q-Cells, the largest independent solar cell manufacturer in the world. Q-cells, based in Germany, has committed to invest up to $3.5 billion in manufacturing capability in Mexico, i.e. in the Silicon Border industrial park. This will be the largest high-tech manufacturing investment ever made in Mexico.
